Practice Area

Kris is a partner in the firm and focuses his practice on construction and land use matters. He counsels and represents developers, owners, design professionals, and contractors in all phases of the construction process. Kris litigates a wide variety of construction matters, including payment disputes, mechanics’ and construction liens, delay claims, and contract disputes. A substantial portion of his practice involves drafting and negotiating design and construction contracts, and advising clients on contract administration issues.

Kris represents and counsels clients on matters involving federal, state and local government contracts. He advises and represents clients in bid protest matters and helps clients to resolve disputes with government parties, including the preparation and litigation of claims and requests for equitable adjustment.

A significant portion of Kris’ practice involves real estate and land use matters. He represents owners and developers in obtaining land use approvals throughout New Jersey in connection with commercial, residential, and affordable housing developments. Kris also litigates actions in lieu of prerogative writs defending or challenging zoning board and planning board land use decisions.

Kris was born and raised in Collingswood, New Jersey. He now resides in Haddonfield with his wife and their three children.
